Course Description:

Patients do not need to succumb to living with shoulder pain. Many patients hope it will just magically go away and others may resist treatment out of a fear that they may ultimately be told that they need surgery.
Terry Rzepkowski, DPT, MS, BS, understands that patients can improve their outcome function and reduce their daily pain levels effectively with non-operative therapy interventions. He once had a 56 y/o patient with text book acute rotator cuff tear presentation and concurrent MRI findings. When the patient presented, he was scheduled for upcoming arthroscopic repair. During a pre-op visit and EMG it was discovered that this patient needed to go on a heart transplant list and the shoulder surgery was no longer an option. Despite having 8/10 daily pain and nonfunctional use of his dominant right arm, this patient’s goals simply were to manage his own ADL’s and enjoy his new grandchildren. With no option but to work with a conservative non-operative progression of exercises, he was able to achieve his goals and manage his daily pain level at 0-2/10.
Imagine having the skills and insights to offer your own patients significant functional
improvements from non-operative management of their shoulder conditions. You will propel your
practice forward after attending this comprehensive hands-on course!
