Course Description:
This is a 6 hour course open to occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, certified hand therapists, physical therapists and physical therapy assistants. This course is designed to review wrist anatomy and biomechanics to better understand ulnar sided wrist pain. The primary focus will be to develop enhanced clinical assessment skills and determine appropriate and progressive intervention techniques. This is a blended course with time split between lecture, case discussion, and skill development. The design of this course is geared toward the intermediate skill level clinician who is looking to broaden knowledge and skills at it relates to this patient population for improved patient reported outcomes.
