Course Description:
Objectives:Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
-Illustrate emerging concepts of ACL reconstruction, including the emergence of the quadriceps tendon graft
-Compare & discuss the principles behind biologic & alternative treatments for arthritis & tendonitis
-Interpret & explain knee differential diagnoses that are commonly found through diagnostic imaging
-Understand current literature regarding neuroplasticity associated with musculoskeletal injury
-Implement current evidence regarding treatment strategies & approaches to induce neuroplasticity & decrease injury
-Recognize & identify anatomical structure & function of the knee & demonstrate with exam
-Consider & recommend alternatives to maintain strength & conditioning during the rehab process
