Course Description:
This is a comprehensive course and will include differential assessment, skilled evaluative techniques, special tests, and strategic treatment of vestibular pathologies, hypo function and cervical dizziness.
This course will provide attendees with a relevant review of anatomy and physiology and how it relates to function of the vestibular system and the diagnosis of BPPV. Upon completing this course, participants will have a deeper understanding of how the vestibular system works including mechanisms and contributions from other regions. This deeper understanding will allow the participant to more completely and fully assess and manage patients with vestibular dysfunction, specifically BPPV and vestibular hypofunction. VR is an excellent course for those that work in the outpatient setting and would like to feel more comfortable with Vestibular pathologies. This course is designed for students, PTAs, OTs and PTs regardless of background in vestibular education.
